TAAG 2008 Sichuan Earthquake Donation Drive Below Finishes, Helps 28 Young Victims (2008/7/31)
Dear Friends:
The people in Sichuan, China need your help. The May 12, 2008 earthquake is devastating to so many people. Parents lost their children. Children lost their parents. Millions lost their homes... We ask that you keep them in your thoughts and prayers.
TAAG is calling for your donation to its Sichuan Earthquake Relief Fund for the victims. As TAAG is a 501(c)(3) charitable non-profit organization as determined by the U.S (Tax ID 58-2589269). IRS, your donation is tax-deductible. Our board members have an impeccable record of supporting charitable causes. We have received a total of $10,470 up to May 24 (including eleven of our board members’ families have already pledged/donated amounts totaling US$5500). Please see the donors list. 100% of the donation will be sent to local Sichuan Red Cross Societies and other direct relief effort, because we are all volunteers and thus there will be absolutely no overhead cost on the fund. Your contribution to the fund will reach those who are in dire need of your help, quickly and effectively.
